During the COVID-19 lockdown I’ve been browsing through old files, searching for forgotten gems. In the spring of 2016 a pair of Blue Jays made a nest a few meters from my deck so I was able to watch as they raised a brood of 5 chicks. I was able to get up close and personal without disturbing them by using a long zoom lens. It was a real treat to witness a small miracle that most of us never get the opportunity to see. Enjoy!
