Winter in Halifax County

It’s been an unusual winter in Halifax County. We’ve had more bitterly cold days and less snow than usual. I may regret those words as Old Man Winter has a bad habit of surprising us in March – Newfoundlanders call it Sheila’s Brush. At least a fresh dusting of snow makes everything look clean and fresh.
