Fine Art Prints

My images are printed on true archival matte paper, a luxuriant acid free paper which will not yellow and degrade over time. The 8ml/ 230gsm weight and High Dmax and Colour Gamut make it ideal for fine art photo printing.

My photo lab can mount your print on acid-free Smooth Mount board and laminate it with their popular Leather Laminate. Together these add stability, UV, moisture and dust protection to your print, eliminating the need for distracting frame glass.

Fine Art Canvas Prints

My canvas print lab uses a museum quality 380 gsm poly/cotton blend canvas material that is made in Canada. It has a stunning matte/low lustre finish to prevent glare, as well as a fine weave to create sharp images. Photos are printed at ultra-high resolution using the Giclée printing method with archival grade inks to create sharp and vivid reproductions while capturing every fine detail. The prints are then treated with an archival UV laminate. This protects the canvas from scratches, fading and makes it easier to clean.

The canvas prints are equipped with ultra-heavy-duty stretcher bar frames. The 1 ½” wood frames are designed to prevent warping from tension and other environmental conditions. Hanging hardware is included so it is ready to hang out of the box. My print lab also offers custom framing which can be added at the time you place your order.

*Prints are shipped directly to you from the print lab. Their shipping fees are VERY reasonable!

*Certificate of Authenticity

Each fine art paper or canvas print comes with its own Certificate of Authenticity (CA). This is a record of ownership and identifies the origin of a work of art. The CA will prove that you’ve purchased an original Hugh Chisholm print. It will contain details about the print such as ID, title, print media, size, when it was produced and the date/ location of image capture. It will be signed and sealed to verify the authenticity of the print. I recommend keeping the CA in a safe location.

Please CONTACT ME if you would like to purchase any of my images or if you have any questions about prices. Payment is easy – tell me what you’d like to order and I will let you know the final total. Simply send me an e-transfer with the payment and I will arrange for printing and delivery ASAP. I also have a PayPal account so you can send funds using this option if you prefer. This works best for customers outside of Canada or those who are not set up to do e-transfers.
