A snowshoe hare enjoying some greenery he dug up out of the snow. He kept a wary eye on me as he enjoyed his lunch. This photo was taken in my back yard in Hubley.

I love how the snow made perfect circles around the rocks on the frozen lake. It reminds me of an egg – sunny side up. I captured this image at Long Lake Provincial Park in Halifax.

I was out looking for a woodland scene to shoot when I stumbled upon these Hooded Mergansers swimming in an icy pond. They look like they just returned from the beauty salon!
