Surfing in the North Atlantic Ocean in March isn’t for the faint of heart! Many of you will be surprised to hear that Nova Scotia is a surfing location. Cow Bay Beach is a favourite place for locals as well as surfers from other areas to hone their skills. You might even hear an Australian accent as the surfers walk past carrying their boards. These images were taken during some very strange weather – pouring rain with sunny breaks and plenty of wind gusts. It made for some very uncomfortable shooting conditions but it produced some wicked action shots! There was even a rainbow at one point. Enjoy!
