I took a drive across the Annapolis Valley to the Bay of Fundy last week with my photo buddies Gordon and Kevin. It was a beautiful day and the apple blossoms were in full bloom. Here’s a small selection of images from our trip.

I want to comment first that your photography is wonderful. I’ve been following Catopia since Stan ran for office, and many of your pictures have made me say WOW! My second comment is about the photo of the old shed. When I worked for our local newspaper, I had an odd obsession with old barns for a while. When out taking feature photos, inevitably I’d find an old, run down barn, and snap photos. Even now I’m likely to say, “oh, look! a barn!” and make someone stop so I can take a picture. 🙂

Thanks for your kind words. I have the same problem with old sheds/barns as well as houses, derelict cars, shipwrecks and even dead trees! I’m a firm believer in the old cliche that “beauty is in the eye of the beholder.”
